How to use

The chemists designed gold standard to be one of the most powerful home peels for skincare gurus that are ready to level up in efficacy and tackle stubborn skin texture or uneven pigmentation.

NIGHTLY SERUM

Add one drop to your serum or moisturizer step and mix for a gentle, nightly exfoliating experience to keep skin smooth and tackle unwanted hyperpigmentation.

ONCE A WEEK WASH-OFF MASK MOMENT

For a more potent experience, after your cleansing step, apply a thin layer to dry skin and let it sit for 10 minutes of me-time. Wash-off and follow with the rest of your normal routine.

Pssst...did you know?

The first iteration of Gold Standard was an overly ambitious hodgepodge of active ingredients, which ended up turning into awkwardly brown mush over time. “Brown Standard” just wouldn't have the same ring to it.

use gold standard as a booster mixed in with a serum such as aquafixuse gold standard as a rinse off mask

Ingredients List & Actives Profiles

You shouldn’t need a degree in chemistry to take care of your skin. But, to be clear, someone needs the degree.

Glycolic Acid (AHA)

30% Glycolic Acid

Glycolic acid is the smallest and mightiest molecule of the AHA family. It takes slightly more time and patience to find the perfect dose of glycolic acid that’s efficacious without irritation. But the results are worth it! Don't listen to us, there's plenty of data to back up its great benefits.

Hyperpigmentation Fighter

5% Tranexamic Acid

Tranexamic acid actually got its start as medication to treat excessive bleeding. When patients came out of treatment with brighter, more even skin tone… well the rest is history.

The Other Stuff

All of our exfoliant boosters contain a beautifully pigmented plant extract to help you visualize your dose of AHA. The Gold Standard's golden hue comes from safflower.

Alpha Hydroxy Acids: Your Skin's AHA Moment
