Not Your Normal Surfactants
This cleanser was formulated to be SLS, SLES, and even coco-betaine free. While these surfactants work for most, there is a subcategory of skin types that don’t do well with these surfactants, which seem to be in just about every cleanser out there. No skin type gets left out!
Hydrating, Skin Quenching, Water-grabbing Humectants
While there isn’t a single best humectant, the secret sauce is to use a calculated blend of the top performers, that each brings something unique to the table! Aquafix contains our perfect blend of 5% glycerin, 2% sodium PCA, 2% panthenol, and 0.5% hyaluronic acid to keep skin happily hydrated.
0.5% Madecassoside & Asiaticoside
This is the actual isolated active component of the beloved centella asiatica extract that's famous for its soothing superiority.
1% Allantoin
One of the original soothing molecules that has withstood the tests of time, allantoin is naturally found in our bodies, as well as in plants and animals.
0.5% silymarin
Also known as milk thistle extract. The chemists spent most of the two years working on a way to stabilize this active because of its strong soothing properties.
0.5% bisabolol
This is the isolated compound from German chamomile that is known for its potent soothing & skin brightening properties.
