Unfortunately Blank Slate was too drying for both my drier skin type as well as my daughter’s combination skin, and left us both our skin feeling tight and stripped. However it is the lack of customer service that will have me sharing my experience and not recommending Chemist Confessions to others. After inquiring about a return, I received absolutely no response at all.
Only wish this was a bigger bottle. I love that there's barely any scent and it just feels clean, no tightness or residue.
This was a lifesaver - after trying some way too harsh products Blank Slate was great at gently removing my several reapplications of mineral sunscreen at the end of the day. You can barely feel it - it’s it’s not foamy or intense, but it works! Great option if you are sensitive but dislike the creamy/oily kind of face washes.
I am super impressed with Blank Slate. It's really rare that a gel-consistency cleanser doesn't strip my skin and create that uncomfortable, tight feeling. It doesn't lather super well, so I wash twice in a row; not sure if I really need to do that. Does well removing sunscreen and makeup (serum foundation, concealer, cream blush, setting powder) but I do need a little extra help for eye makeup.
I love this cleanser! I am using retinol and have acne/ sensitive skin- and this cleanser didn’t make me dry or break out! Normally I feel like I have some sort of reaction to new products, but not this one. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
