What makes Mr. Reliable an "All-in-One" moisturizer?
Mr. Reliable is formulated to address both immediate, daily hydration needs and long term skin barrier care. For daily hydration, Mr. Reliable is a delicate blance of hydrating humectants, smoothing emollients, and nourishing occlusives for all day hydration. For long term barrier care, Mr. Reliable is formulated with a blend of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids - lipids naturally occuring in skin essential for a robust skin barrier. We also include silymarin and lactobacillus to protect skin against daily aggressors. Last but not least, we have 2% niacinamide to bolster skin barrier while brightening skin. Phew! This is a LOT, but well-rounded barrier care is serious business!
I have oily skin, can I use Mr. Reliable?
Yes! Mr. Reliable is a lightweight gel cream that is oily skin friendly. A little bit goes a long way - half a pump can cover your hydration needs for the day. If you have very oily skin (think midday shine), we recommend trying Aquafix first as a standalone moisturizer.
I have dry skin, is Mr. Reliable moisturizing enough to be my one-and-done moisturizer?
Mr. Reliable is formulated as a well-rounded, layerable gel cream. For those with normal, slightly dry skin, one full pump of Mr. Reliable can be moisturizing as a one-and-done moisturizer. For those with dehydrated skin, we recommend layering Aquafix under Mr. Reliable. For those with very dry skin, we recommend layering Aquafix first, then Mr. Reliable, then a few drops of the Better Oil at night for the moist nourishing and complete hydration.
Can I mix the Specialist, Gold Standard, or Baby Steps with Mr. Reliable?
Yes! We have formulated our entire line to mix and match well together. Mr. Reliable mixes well with any of our acids line.
